Facility
Turning Point Youth Center offers highly structured residential
treatment services designed to assist adolescent males who require
psychiatric treatment in a secure setting. The sixty (60) bed treatment
program is located on a twenty-two (22) acre campus in rural Clinton
County. Turning Point’s state of the art facility is licensed as a Child
Caring Institution by the Michigan Department of Human Services.
Turning Point’s developed system of treatment fully provides each
resident with a secure and safe therapeutic environment. Our facility
maintains a closed medium/high secure setting utilizing electronic
monitoring and continuous staff supervision. Residents reside in two,
with one quad room available, person bedrooms in conjunction with six (6) group rooms.
Outdoor and indoor recreation areas afford residents the opportunity to
engage in year-round recreational activities. Turning Point provides
residents with transportation to court appearances, along with medical,
dental, and vision appointments. Each youth receives year round onsite General and
Special Educational services delivered by Clinton County Regional
Educational Services Agency (CCRESA). Residents also have the
opportunity to engage in school grade recovery, along with general
equivalency diploma (GED), preparatory activities and testing.
