Welcome to Turning Point Youth Center

Turning Point Youth Center can be the best answer for adjudicated males who have a diagnosed psychiatric illness and exhibit severe behavioral problems.  We are the ideal solution for children and adolescents, ages 10-17, that are in need of intensive, highly structured, long-term care in a locked secure setting.

As a leader in residential treatment since 1999, Turning Point Youth Center is fully licensed by the State of Michigan and contracted with the Department of Human Services.  Our campus is on 22 acres in St. Johns, Michigan, 20 miles north Lansing. 

Our treatment team of a psychiatrist, psychologist, master’s level therapists, registered nurses, certified teachers, Ph.D., LPC and MSW interns provide critical stabilization for difficult to place males that have put themselves and others at risk.

Our treatment program utilizes Trauma Focused Care, The Wise Guys Program, Co-occuring Treatment, Pet Therapy and Grief & Loss along with other therapeutic services.
